The idea of the rule of thirds is used throughout most of photography as it helps make eye-catching compositions as it uses the off entered effect to come off as more pleasing to the eye and more natural. TO use it you use two horizontal and two vertical lines to split the image into 9 squares and you focus the important elements on where the lines meet. This allows the image to use negative space and make the whole composition overall better. |
